Studio Policies

  • Facebook - Class Act Performing Arts
  • No food, drink (except for water), or gum allowed in the studio.

  • Hair must be neatly secured away from the face during class.

  • Students may not leave class early without permission.

  • Students , Parents, and visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a polite and orderly manner in class and in the waiting room.

  • Students are to remain inside the building before class and while waiting to be picked up.

  • Cover-ups, to and from class, are strongly encouraged.

  • We reserve the right to dismiss any student who upsets the harmony of the class.

  • Absenteeism is very disturbing to the learning process. Missing a lesson due to illness or travel is understandable but please try not to schedule other activities or appointments at class time. Students may make up classes missed but there will not be a reduction in monthly tuition. We will be keeping attendance records and perfect attendance will be recognized in our annual recital. Make up classes will not count towards perfect attendance.

  • Holidays:  See calendar for specific dates.

  • Weather Closures:  Information will be emailed and/or texted if classes are cancelled due to bad weather.

  • Please label all dance wear with child’s name.  Permanent markers work the best.

Payment Policies

I realize fees and/or tuition are NOT refundable, and that it must be paid by the 10th of a month to avoid a $15 late fee (NO EXCEPTIONS). Tuition and/or registration fees cannot be refunded. SHOULD A LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION OCCUR, fees can be credited towards current session of classes ONLY. (For example, a cancelled camp fee can be credited to any other summer class or camp, but not towards fall classes.)

Initial opening of studio and any delays incurred will of course impact your initial payment.  There will be a one time exception and tuition will be pro-rated on a one-time basis for that month only.

Code of Conduct / Social Media Policy

CAPA is dedicated to providing quality dance instruction in a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Attitudes that are disrespectful, uncooperative, or aggressive do not have a place at CAPA.

  • Students will not speak negatively about one another or the instructors.

  • Any inappropriate or slanderous remarks about CAPA or its staff members or other students on any social media site will be cause for immediate dismissal from the studio.

  • If you have a concern or grievance you must make an appointment with the studio director, or you are welcome to send an appropriate email to discuss the issue.

Drop Policy

Two week written notice must be given IN PERSON or BY EMAIL. The current month will serve as child’s last month of classes. Auto-drafted tuition will not be refunded if drop notice is received after payment has been drafted.
